My Half Year Review

How My Year Is Going So Far

Throughout the past 6 months, I have made many accomplishments in my life despite still being in a global pandemic. These accomplishments consist of:

During the first quarter of 2021, I have achieved most of my goals that were dedicated to investing. The one goal that I worked towards is developing multiple streams of income for myself and I believed at the beginning it would take some time to achieve. Eventually, I managed to achieve that goal which gave me hope that 2021 will be a good year for me. I also established a weekly commitment for myself to learn from like-minded entrepreneurs during weekly lunch and learn Q&A sessions. I have also undertaken two client projects in order to further enhance my professional development skills.

During the second quarter of 2021, I did a good job at achieving most of my goals because I stayed true to myself and my values when applying for jobs that are linked to the experience and skills that I have to offer. I also was dedicated to finishing my master’s degree in HR and learning more about the recruitment and selection process so that I have an idea of what to expect during my job seeking journey.

I feel as though the first half of 2021 is aligned with my 2021 theme being Change because I have made many significant changes in my life in 2021 on a personal and professional level. However, there are many things I can do to further live up to my 2021 theme including actively learning from others, being open to the opportunities that are presented to me, and building up new skills that will help me out during my job seeking journey and in the future when I’m in my ideal career path.

For the second half of 2021, I will dedicate my energy and focus towards my job seeking journey in finding an enjoyable and fulfilling career that is aligned with my values and my true self. I will also dedicate my energy and focus towards being unapologetically myself and displaying a positive mindset throughout my job seeking journey.
