In person CV Drop Experience

After researching about lot of companies for my relevant field which is of HR department I found one company which I thought would be easily accessable and I will get a better experience of dropping that CV was Five rivers technology.

Five rivers technology is a reputable software company of Pakistan which works hugely on recent technologies and the count in one of the most stable companies of pakistan and in corporate sector they strictly follow the rules of every departmemt they have setup in their company.

when applying for HR intern they have online procedure where I did apply first as they have online portal for their career opportunities and I got an automatic reply of my email that their Hr depart will contact me in 30 days time. But my second thought was to drop my CV personally and without any hesitation I decided to implement this thought and the very next day I was in front Five rivers technology gate at 10 am sharp

Standing in front of that gate I had many questions in my mind that the two security guards will allow me to get in or not but after overcoming my hesitation I went straight to the security who look like an in charge of the security of that company and asked her to let me in so I can meet with the HR of the company.

Security guard was a bit hard in his voice which made me confuse but I tried a lot to not show my hassle and kept smile on my face and been polite so that he at least forward my request to HR department.

He called in for the permission and the second moment he told me that I can go in that was a bit relaxing but it wasn’t the last stage of my hesitation.

I found a lovely looking receptionist at the first gate who told me to wait as HR was in a meeting and its not their policy to let walk in’s to meet with HR but it was a lucky day for me that HR allowed to have 5minutes meeting.

I was waiting in the waiting area that phone rang and yes it was from Hr who told her to send me in office was really nice and I just love the environment so peacefull yet productive and everyone was busy working on their desks and office boy lead me to the HR office and she was a women look like smart intelligent woman who welcomed me and told me to sit and very calmly listen my agenda and I handed over my Cv to her which she looked in to throughly and appreciate me on different things written on my CV.

After reviewing my CV thoroughly she told me that they don’t have any openings for interns right now but their will be definitely till end of october so she take my CV and wish me luck and also told me that she will follow up when they have the openings

It was an amazing experience and I am really looking forward to get a chance of having an internship in that company .
