New CoventryLive and Coventry Telegraph editor appointed

Graeme Brown has been appointed the new editor of CoventryLive and the Coventry Telegraph.

He replaces previous editor Keith Perry, who left earlier in the autumn.

Graeme has previously been business editor of the Birmingham Post and was acting executive editor of the Birmingham website, overseeing a period of rapid growth in the period leading up to its rebrand as BirminghamLive.

Most recently, he has had a roving brief to focus on areas of development, most notably the launch of BlackCountry Live, whose growth has exceeded expectations to become one of the most significant recent new launches in the regionals division.

He will continue to have oversight of BlackCountry Live in his new role.

Graeme said: “The Coventry Telegraph has always been a respected regional title that has punched above its weight on behalf of the people of Coventry and Warwickshire.

“The launch of CoventryLive has taken that to another level and it is a massive honour to be given an opportunity to lead that.

“I knew before I came that it was a young, dedicated and talented team and in the past month I have seen that first hand. I look forward to continuing to work with them.”
