Jesus was no stranger to being tested during His ministry. As Christians, we can expect nothing less. While sometimes people have sincere questions about our faith, often skeptics and people who want to find flaws in what we believe will test us. Today we will look at how Jesus handled one such situation, not by how He answered but by how He kept silent.

This text opens with Jesus going off by Himself, something that we see other times in Scripture. In fact, it was while He was alone praying that the religious leaders would come to arrest Him. He also withdrew more than once to avoid crowds, so this was not a one-time thing for our Lord.
