DISCONNECTED VR THERAPY

Smart phones have connected us like never before. And yet here we are… more depressed, anxious, and disconnected than ever before.

Society is in for a radical change. Remember 2007? There was no iPhone. Just an iPod. We are in the iPod generation of VR right now. The next generation of VR headsets are going to revolutionize the world as we know it.

I predict the iPhone 1 of Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality will be released in 2020 and when it is comes out it will change society more than the smart phone.

Remember the first time you saw FaceTime?

Our youth take it for granted. My two year old daughter and seven month old son will take VR Facetime for granted as well.

The consequences of smart phones were unthinkable just 10 years ago.

The consequences of VR are real. It is HIGHLY addictive to be transported to a place other than your current reality. But it doesn’t have to be an escape from our problems. We can use it to solve the puzzle pieces of our current reality and Game-ify our life.

Let’s get a headstart in VR and make sure this technology is used for creating the only thing that matters.

LOVE.

If you feel disconnected, Group Entertainment Therapy is for you.

My wife and I have struggled to feel the same connection we had when we were surrounded by our friends in college, literally within twenty feet of our apartments were dozens of friends.

Now we live in a neighborhood and barely speak to our neighbors and spend the majority of our time with our kids and each other, but I wonder how much of that time is not creating, but spent consuming and staring at screens.

Screens seem to get in the way of love. You know what I’m talking about…

Don’t get me wrong. I LOVE the connection my screens give me to a flat plane of endless information and content. I love being able to create on screens. But it’s nothing compared to creating in VR for me.

It’s not just a screen with a keyboard and mouse, it feels like a playground of infinite possibilities.

I’m currently creating a VR experience to use our addiction to technology to our advantage.

You will get transported to a digital playground with those you love.

Until I figure out if this idea is viable or not, Authenticity VR is developing a Virtual Reality Experience to help gamers and their spouse who feel disconnected and unmotivated to go to traditional couples therapy to connect through a visceral out of body psychedelic experience.

If you own an Oculus Go/Quest/Rift:

PLEASE comment below with feedback and what you’d like to see and I’ll send you my VR experience on November 2.

As a token of my appreciation I will do a VR sculpt of your favorite travel destination and send you the file which you’ll be able to 3D Print at most public libraries for free, put on your shelf and remember that spending money on stuff doesn’t bring us more love.

VR group entertainment therapy is on a mission to reconnect our screen addicted society.

Starting with you.
