A New Way Of Dealing With Your Haters

How this new perspective changes everything

Want to get people upset and leaving you nasty comments? Write about being a Christian. No matter what I write about, I always get some haters. If you have read my writing lately, you know that I am not someone looking to cause a stir for the heck of it.

In fact, most of the time, I write very positive, upbeat, and encouraging things. Why? Because that is just who I am. No, I’m not perfect, but I tend to be optimistic and much of that is because of my faith.

Nevertheless, I still get haters. People who name call, insult me and even try to convince me that my faith is completely made up. Which, maybe it is. Or, maybe it isn’t.

Anyway, I shared a post a while back about how hard it is to write about my faith:

I felt it was important to spend some time being honest about this change in my niche/writing topic. And, at that time, it was pretty hard. I was not prepared for the onslaught of haters I was going to get because of my faith. Maybe I should have been, but my optimism won out and I was caught off guard.

All that to say, I have learned something recently about the people who want to throw my writing, me, and my faith some shade. And today, I thought it might be helpful to you.

I came across this quote recently. I thought it was very interesting because it is so true. It also lined up with my recent change of heart about people leaving mean and nasty comments.

This quote applies because of this older post:
