The Most Unconventional Definition of Love

It’s so Simple yet so Profound

Love is something that everybody experiences at some point or another. It is a feeling that isn’t just limited to romantic relationships. It is felt between parents and their kids, people and their friends, individuals and their mentors, etc. Love is a feeling that cannot be missed.

So, what exactly is the definition of “love?”

This is the definition of love we read about and hear about from friends and family members. It’s the primary understanding that everyone has.

However, I recently came across a definition of love that I hadn’t heard of before. And it wasn’t even complicated. I found it to be both impactful and pure.

You see, the rawest and purest definition of love is simply acceptance. Love is accepting another human being into your life fully and completely.

That’s it.

At the most basic level, love is acceptance.

Only after acceptance does a person develop the desire to nurture that love. That’s when the conventional definition described above comes into play.

I think it’s essential for everyone to understand that love is simply the wholehearted acceptance of something or someone. Hopefully, understanding this concept will be an awakening for you as it was for me.
